sounds like a spring being sprung sometimes when I turn

Got an 07 Exterra 2wd and sometimes when I have it turned all the way like U turn turned it sounds like a spring is being sprung almost sounds like its under the seat but I can't be sure. Its under warranty but I was just wondering if you guys had any ideas.

IDK about Xterras but on my 240sx when I installed loweringsprings (way back in the day) I overtightened the upper strut bolt.

If an exterra has a mcfirson style suspension upfront with teh spring around the actual shock try and loosen the middle bolt alittle.

There will be (most likely) 3 bolts holding your suspension to the car and one bolt in the very center.
