sounds like a blown motor but isnt....

Car: 1995 nissan 240 sx

I have an 1995 240 SX dohc made a loud bang not leaking oil or transmission fluid, was able to turn engine over makes a clanking noise. I don't know if it is the piston or the connecting rod. Going about 80 mph when it happened. Has it happen to anybody else car has 125,000 miles.

How do you know it isnt blown? My guess is you soun a rod bearing or threw a rod.
