I have a 2013 Altima S 2.5L 4cyl with a CVT trans and I've been hearing a click sound from the wheel well when I accelerate from a dead stop and also occasionally when I decelerate. Just one solitary click. Any ideas on what it could be?

Brake likely, pads moving around in caliper. Possible lower trans mount rockover at max torque moment. Maybe even axle.

I know this is an old thread, mine is a 2014 Altima with 80,000 miles.

I’ve had a similar problem but was hard to pinpoint, after much troubleshooting I discovered that my noise was coming from loose bolts that attach the body and the subframe together, after tightening the 6 bolts on each side the noise is gone.
