I finally took my Rogue in to get all of my speakers and amps installed into it that I had in the Ford. I dropped it off last week when I left for vacation, and gave my installer free reigns to do what he wanted, with just a few guidelines. I came back home yesterday, and I was insanely happy with what he did. Originally, I had originally decided to replace the head unit, but with the Bit One Processor its not necessary, and I couldn't justify the additional cost for any of the existing head units that are out there. I will definitely replace it in the future, but for now it does the job.
The equipment used for this install is as follows -
Hertz HSK165XL Components up front
Hertz HV165 Woofer in the rear door
2 Hertz ES300 12" Subwoofers in the custom built enclosure in the hatch
Audison SRx5 5 channel 540W Amplifier
Audison SRx2 2 channel 220W Amplifier
Audison Bit One DSP
Lots and lots of wire and Hushmat
Other than the remote for the DSP, the car looks completely bone stock when I lay down the carpeted mat in the hatch, and I can still haul anything by laying down the original cover. Here's a link to the write up by the installer on his page.
