i replaced all my 4 by 6s and am thinking about adding a pair somewhere in the rear of the car. i was wondering if it would work to connect the new wires to the current wires at the points where they touch the speaker plugs.
would it draw to much power?
would it even be louder since it is not connected directly to the headunit ?
wouold it make the new speaker combination act like one speaker such as instead of one speaker at full power or two at half.

if you add another set of speakers, please get the same kind of speakers that you already have in the back and buy a 4channel amp. the 4 channel will provide you with the right amount of power to all of your speakers and it will sound alot better. from the amp, you can hook up the 4 rear speakers on 2 of the output channels
