hey, im havin trouble hooking up my system , i bought the converter and i wired it all right but its not working. any suggestions

well im trying to install a amp and sub i have the converter and it is wired but the amp isnt turning on. its all wired correctly as far as i know. ive done over 20 amp sub systems but this is the first one with the converter...

What "converter" are you talking about, and where do you have this "converter" hooked up to. Also... do you have the "remote on" wire hooked up to the amp?

I think he is referring to the Line output Converter

if you have the scoche line output converter, and you're running an aftermarket amp, you need to make sure you connect the ground corectly, and change the position of the black tab on the side!

Also, as mentioned, be sure you have connected the remote on on the amp, to the correct wire on the factory harness!

ok thanks. i didnt have the converter grounded. which wire is the acc wire on the radio harness is it the mainly yellow w/ red stripe wire???

i'm not sure about the acc wire, is that what they told you to ground it to??

yes, the remote wire is blue for all aftermarket setups... not necessarily on the factory harness!
