Sound System install on 240sx

wondering where can I run the power cable through the firewall??? and also where can I get some good deals on mb quart gear (I want to go mb quart complete system, with components on the doors/ two ways on the back and mb quart power amps with subs 2x12" or 2x10) what do you guys think???

What kind of 240 you have and what year?I'll take a pic in the morning and show you where I went through.It's behind glove back and up A.K.A. P.I.T.A. to get to but effective.

Mine was pretty simple (in my s13)...

Find where the cable to the hood popper goes through (under the brake and clutch MC's) and run it through there. Then I went over the steering column and back under the carpet next to the center console.

Hmm I went through on passenger side.I like to stay away from my steering column.

same, I went throught the same hole... actually a lot of things went through that hole

What do you mean "I went" through the hole.And then a lot of things went through the hole? You aren't r@ping your car are you?

1 amp wire, 3 gauge wire, 1 boost controller vacum hose, 1 boost controller solenoid connection wires

I think there is something else but I can't remember

I drilled on my S14. Just below the AC piping on the passenger side floor. Ran the cables and booted/siliconed it up.

I tried to use the areas people suggested but finally gave up. I believe people recomend the AC hole, the hood popper/cable hole and some use the Main harness hole.....and some drill.

how long is your alls power cable? running it through the driver side then back over to the battery seems like there wouldn't be enough, if you bought a wiring kit.
