SOUND SYSTEM IN HYBRID?

SINCE THIS IS A HYBRID...DOES PUTTING A BIG SOUNDSYTEM IN THE TRUNK MESS WITH THE BATTERY(IES) AT ALL? I WANNA PUTT EITHER 1 JL 13.5" W7 OR 2 12"W7'S IN THE BACK BUT IM A AFRAID IT MIGHT DRAIN THE POWER OUT OF THE CAR...ANYBODY HAVE A SOUND SYSTM IN THEIR HYBRID WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS??

i'd want to know that too. i wouldn't mess with the battery in the trunk though. i would use the engine battery in the front if i was going to put a sound system in. but yeh i'm wondering what would it take wires amp fuses etc on the hybrid

Actually, just as an FYI... the hybrid has it's 12 V battery located in the trunk, behind the right side panel. I'm assuming this was because they needed to make room under the hood for the hybrid components.

I have a couple of kickers in my trunk. I just added a 1.5 farad capacitor. I've had it like this for a couple of years and no problems so far
