How much better is the upgraded sound system that comes with the deluxe touring package vs the sound system in the premium package? Is is clearly better?

Depends on the music. Some songs utilize the in-seat speakers and some don't. System still isn't perfect, but I'm an audiophile, so I'll be adding a sub, etc. eventually.

Sucks for me.. The bose system in my impala sound great then whats in the infiniti. I didn't realize that these cars has bass in front door and highs in back door and a bass in back. Did some pricing this pass weekend to add highs in all doors 2 amps and a sub for 1200. that's just because i want clear sound and a little thump.

Yeah I want a cleaner sound system as well which is why I'm likely going to replace all of the door speakers with something a bit better in the mid-high areas and either disable the rear sub completely and wire-in a powered sub in the trunk or do both.

First I want to get my coilovers, exhaust and then audio is the last thing (unless that other thread yields us some lip kits and diffusers lol).

yea. i think leaving the sud in rear wont hurt. its was kind weird that a few places i went to price to see what they can do with this system wont touch it because they had nothing showing in there system that is compatible for changing. . Do want diffusers though!

The upgraded system is definitely worth having. However, the surround system will not automatically switch ON for every source. MY flash drive and most of the SAT stations I use always play through it, but most of the local radio stations do not. The absolute best is the DVD player. I have concert DVDs and when I play those, the sound stage is amazingly more noticeable, the bass comes alive, and the system really shines. I, too, would like to have higher grade speakers. I'm just not comfy yet dismantling the doors, rear deck etc to do that. But ... if I decide to go that way, I will add dynamat or similar to the doors and rear deck to prevent rattling and increase sound proofing.

Yeah I have The Transformer playing in my car to show off the Deluxe sound system and everyone is mpressed with the surround sound. I kind of wish our screens were as large as the 2013+ Lexus GS350.

I know what the Deluxe package is, what comes with the Premium package though?
