sound going in and out when CD playing

Sorry if this has been on the forum before, but I am new. Glad to find this site! My 2004 Murano with 90,000 miles on it is great! Unfortunately I am having trouble with CDs playing. When I hit a bump the sound volume changes, sometimes from speaker to speaker. The next bump usually fixes it but it's very annoying. Any suggestions? Other than not listening to CDs anymore? Thanks!

Sounds like a loose connection. My wife's SUV does that, noticed the power and speaker cable is a little loose on the back of the 3rd party Sirius box. Push it in and no more volume change, cutting out or static. Hope this helps.
