I'd like to install some dampening, where are the best places in the coupe to do this? I'm on a budget so obviously I can't do the whole compartment.

What's the purpose of the sound deadening? Are you looking to keep noise out or in?

I didn't think Alty Coupes were all that noisy, unless you have some noisy tires on it.

In my opinion its not worth it unless you do the whole nine yards. But if you really want to go budget Im sure around the wheel wells and floorboards would be best to keep road noise out.

This. If you're going to gut the car, might as well get it all. When I had my Altima, you could barely tell the car was running when it wasn't moving. Silence is golden.
