well i have a question I have a 240sx hatch and i have 18 inch Monarch rims like they arent that bad but people are starting to get on my nerves about my wheels on how they are too big and that i should go smaller , and some people like the 18s but they were like ohh just drop it a tad bit more and put a clean camber on it and to be honest i do like my 18s they look pretty cool like they are aluminum polish , so i just want to to know the pros and cons of my rim options or if any of you have any experience with 18 inch wheels to help me out with some info...ImageImageImage

If you have coilovers I would drop it lower and get some ruca To help out in the rear camber or just get a ground effect or a nice body kit and it make the look of the rims not so big on the car but I think your wheel option is sweet looking. Ur for me maybe 3/4 of and inch in the front and about inch and half in the rear will make it look even sweeter

I think they look pretty cool man. I'd just lower it a bit more and get some sort of aero on there. Front lip, OEM sides, and rear valence should do the trick.

Also, take other people's opinions about your car and put them in a file cabinet. At the end of the day, its your car.

I would hardly call this "SOS: RIM CRISIS".

Put a "JDM as Fuk" sticker on the back window, problem solved.

I'm generally not a fan of big wheels or excessively-low profile tires. And I think your car looks great with that combo. It could definitely use a little more low, but the wheels and tires fill out the wheel wells nicely, and the tires don't look like rubber bands stretched around a barrel. Looks very nice to me.

If your friends want to complain about something, they can come see my neighbor's Chrysler 300. It has 20-something-ridiculous-inch chrome wheels and less sidewall than I have tread depth (not kidding, either...there's no room for brand logos and the tires aren't even stretched). But of course it's just a base 2.7 because whe- sorry--rimz yo--matter more than powertrain.

^ LOL

For some reason its a common practice for people to buy the base model of a vehicle then put wheels on it... Then since they have wheels on it they think its "fast"....

Its fairly ignorant if you ask me.. :tisk:

OP this is not a wheel crisis just lower your car a little bit...
