Ok years past, rebuilt number 2 is done, breaking in is almost over.

I've always read boost limits to18psi on stock bottom end, what is the weak point?

this is my setup:Nistune ECU tunning Walbero fuelpumpKA24 Throttle bodyZ32 Maf550cc injectorsGT28 s15 bb spec Rturbo back 3"exhaustss turbo manifoldfront mount intercoolerRebuilt motor new bearings/ringspolished cranktomei 256 camsFuel Pressure regulatoroil coolerfilter relocation kit, larger filteroil catch can

Whats stock:

Pistionsrodsvalves(replaced) but stockspringscranklifters

Whats the weakest part of my motor, how much boost can i handle without blowing up my stock pistions? Or my motor. I ask because i will be dyno tuning soon and I want to hit 300whp and i wanna know where i just gotta go F**k if i gotta give up without hitting 300whp .

I know it's a redunant question but didnt find anyone with setup close to mine to compair when i searched.

On a dyno, get some ordinary fuel, and turn up the boost until it starts to ping.

That's the limit :-) If it goes bang..you have exceeded the limit.

High boost = higher risk. Gonna have to live with the timebomb :-)

Your engine can handle whatever that s15 t28 can dish out. Just make sure the tune is spot on. I wouldn't run it much over 18psi though, as its going to be out of its efficiency range over about 20psi.

My setup is exactly the same.

I don't know if you are going to quite make 300whp, but 280 should be easily within your grasp. I'm shooting for ~270.

One question though, you have a wideband? I would highly suggest one.

i agree with r34 gtr. you might get to 300whp. you should be good to go though with what you have. at around 350 hp you should consider upgrading internals
