Just joined a couple weeks ago, as promised here are the pics of my new Q.

So far I've tinted the tails lmao...soon I will be getting tint, exhaust, wheels and coil overs...and whatever else I can find that's attractive. Usually when I look at a car I can build it to a finished product in my mind. Now I just have to get it to where it is in my head lol.

pics of my last car (2003 Pontiac Vibe), my bike (2002 Ducati Monster) and the new Q. I have more picture of my bike on Facebook lol. More pics of all my excursions and events in my Photobucket, search for "Merzbow050" on photobucket.com.

yes!

the Monster has always been a favorite...granted, I can't ride, so I can't attest to the performance, but aesthetically, beautiful.

That's a beautiful... uh... bike. Yeah. That's it.

Also, a very appropriate filename for that photo.

Man, every time someone posts something about a Y33, I think about one of my favorite bikes growing up; The Trek Y33. And then instantly think this thread is about old school Mt.Bikes...

Haha, thanks ;) Unfortunately she's an ex, just happened to be a good compliment to the bike lmao.

I really really like that Q that was in Import Tuner a while ago that always pops up on google images with the Work rims. I actually would like to get a set of the same rims 19" for it some day.

What's in Omaha? I don't think she would make it that far yet! So far, the alternator caught on fire two weeks ago, and now it's running like garbage, especially when it rains. Almost feels like it's misfiring. I tested the coil packs and didn't notice any changes upon unplugging. I'm going to scan it tomorrow at work if any of the other mechanics have the proper adapters for their scanners, as I do not lol. Maybe a sensor or vacuum line crack? I have been very busy and haven't had the time to really get into it yet and start learning this thing's mechanical layout as it is WAAAAAY different than my other cars.

I haven't done a search yet but off hand, has either of these issues come up before? I know alternators can go, especially after 100,000 miles but generally, they do not catch on fire lmao!

I think there was a recall on the alternator. Might want to contact Infiniti. Nice car.
