yes as iv been swaping my cometic hg for tomorow is the 3rd day. all i can say is get the fsm and attack it and never look back. swapping a hg is pretty straight forward, remove the manifolds and turbo, go to tdc, remove cams and hold timing chain. remove the head, clean the surfaces (gasket stripper sucks *** i wouldnt use it again). put the head back on. install cams in right position acording to fsm, put turbo and manifolds back on. done, btw empty fluids befor hand. i could do a writeup kinda thing without pics but thats about all i can do as i worked from 11am to 10pm today and i didnt have any time to take pics of stuff. it was very hot outside and i had to takes brakes frequently because i get fatiged fast from being sick. i would never EVER do this again with a motor in a car. you could not pay me enough.

yea a few years ago i was in a really bad car wreck and the rear end of the car was smashed in by a big rig and i was i the back seat, the car folded up into my back and it cant be fixed so yea my back feels like iv been working for days after about 20 minutes.

ow. well maybe i need to invent some special device that removes the strain on people's backs when working on car engines..
