I'm starting to slowly gather up parts now over the winter...

I'll be going with SS Goodridge lines, and I was wondering if it would be better to go with a ZX kit, due to the parking brake...um, any info or suggestions would be appreciated.

Also in your guys opinions would it be worth the extra money (not sure HOW much extra yet) to simply buy new hubs? I'm a little leary about buying used hubs online, since the mileage can be easily lied about...don't want the bearings to be done, and have the hub useless. Opinions please.

Sorry to start yet another thread on this conversion, but these questions haven't been asked (I don't think...).

The Z32 Goodridge kit will not come with the hardlines needed. You have a 240, buy a 240 kit. The bolts supplied are shorter and will work fine with the Z32 calipers. The parking brake assembly has NO effect on the brake lines themselves, you're talking about 2 different parts. Why are you buying hubs? If your car is a 4lug, it's cheaper and easier to drill the rotors, otherwise what year is your car? S14s have a pressed bearing that is not replaceable, so a salvage set may not last long. I'd go with OE hubs, you'll get a good 150k+ miles on them easily for just a little more money.

Car is a 96. First, I'm doing the 5-lug for aesthetic (sp) reasons, plus there are slightly more wheel choices. The pressed bearing was what I was inquiring about...I was basically going to get OE hubs for that reason, and was just wondering if it was worth the extra money.

Thanks.
