Hi guys! I'm new and wanted to say hi and that I've admired 240's, 180's, Silvias..etc for quite a while. I'm thinking of buying a stock 91 with about 140k miles on the clock and was wondering do KA42DE's run good with age? I'm going to ride stock for awhile till I get money for an SR20DET s (broke college student).

It can run good with tlc, the question is how was it maintained before you bought it? If it was a granny car then you shouldnt have too many problems, just check the fluids and such. If it is being sold at a used car lot then raise eyebrows, ask LOTS of questions.

yeah always buy from someone not a dealer and have someone to a once over on the engen b4 u think about buyin it.. but the KA is a really strong engen it will take alot of abuse

hahaha. Anyway one of the 240's is a coupe and it's yellow! A guy near me is selling it and supposedly it's really clean. I'm sure this has been asked again and again but about what is the total cost of the SR20DET red top swap (parts, labor, etc) ?
