First of all sweetie, that turbo you got was an extra for you and I explained that to you. Second of all, I told you that no one who sells used turbocharged engines cannot and will not warrant a turbo from an engine that is damn near older than you; it's just not practical. And third, my job was to make sure you got a good, clean functioning engine and I did that at my best.
The turbo and manifold was a GIFT because you wanted just a long block and you didn't pay for a fresh turbocharger like I had originally offered. And lastly, you could've contacted me in private about this matter as I have been extremely friendly, communicative and helpful to this point and I'm more than sure you got your money's worth. If the people that you paid $2000 to do your swap didn't realize that something was wrong with the turbocharger, then it's probably because them nor my friend and I had no idea it was issue either.
And who was to say you didn't boost the thing till death (you feel me), but I don't get down like that because it's foul business. I didn't install it, so I personally can't warrant it and my friend will laugh at me if I tried him with this. I honestly would've gotten the turbo redone before I did the install, so you have no reason to talk crap to me. And if something went wrong and you paid for a rebuilt turbo, I'm held responsible and then you can point the finger at me, but not this time "Tiger".........I've been straight-up with everyone who've purchased an engine through me from my contacts (and that's a bunch of people) and not one have complained about a turbocharger. As long as the engine wasn't knocking or had been overheated prior to taking ownership. Let alone that turbo and manifold was a freebie for you, so you really can't complain because the price stayed the same.
And lastly, if any of you think that when you buy a motorset it is supposed to be perfect condition, then you're in for a rude awakening. The physical motor itself and the entire transmission less it's sensors is what's warranted ladies and gents. And that warrant only covers the engine block, the head, and their internal workings. It does not cover accessories such as but are not limited to: Alternators, P/S pumps, water pumps, timing belts, seals and pullies. If you're out shopping for a motor, please ask what's covered and not covered and if you're shopping from a ebsite, please read the fine print or the disclaimer. I'm sorry that turbo is supposedly bad "Britney", but I did offer to have one done for you in which you agreed to if I had done the work for you. But since you had a change of heart and had the same shop do the work for you, I guess they didn't see the turbo as being bad either. Good luck with your engine and I hope you read this carefully and understand my position in this matter.
Sincerely,
D'Angelo
