the bolts on the revhard mani for the turbo say 10.9 ont hem. im assuimg this is how mcuh to torque them done since the instructions dont say how much. 11 ftlbs does nto seem like alot for torqueing down a turbo. and ts says like 13 ont he wastegate. is this all right?

i'm thinking maybe not too tight because of heat expansion...? i wouldn't know though.

Are you talkng about the number stamped onto the head of the bolt? That isn't a torque specification, that's the grade (strength) of the bolt. Standard bolts use lines, and metric bolts have a number. A 10.9 metric bolt (equivalent to a standard grade 8) can hold approximately 150,000 pounds of force per square inch.

What kind of hardware does the NSport Kit come with? I'm curious. My XS kit had all kinds of problems with loosening nuts. Lock washers are useless. Serrated washers help, but still come loose. I ended up using Nissan Exhaust manifold nuts as they use a mechanical lock(compressed) and it holds great. I'm just wondering if NSport provides decent hardware.

Also, anything special holding the wastegate to the manifold? The bolts I used, would back out as well. I ended up using a socket head bolt, and drilled a small hole through the side of the heads so I can run safety wire through them.

the bolts that hold the turbo to the manifold are 17mm that have washers and are a 10.9 grade from what i was told that number means. i dont know how else to describe them. the wastegate is held on by kex bolts that i had to use a hex key on. i couldnt fit my attachment that u use on head studs so its prob not tight enough

does the XS kit use the revhard manifold? if it does then i could use nissan exhuast mani bolts too, that would be cool

The XS is near identical in most of the parts to the NSport and does use the Revhard.

The Deltagate is adjustable to a small degree without changing the spring. Adjust the pretension by loosening the locknut on top, then use an allen wrench to adjust the screw. Loosening it should lower the boost.
