My car has the seat warmers, but I don't use it, and I drive with the windows down 24/7, and with my heater blowing. I love to hear my exhaust sound even in the cold, and even when I am freezing my behind off---its all worth it. Yes, its effing cold.

Great way to help out

Pmode,

The 03 Gs were kind of weird. Very un-infiniti. Where previous models from previous years had almost all features standard, the 03 (and possibly 04) had the least standard options (in my opinion).

Heated seats came with the "Cold Package" as did heated rear view mirrors. You might contact a dealer's service department with your VIN and ask them which packages your G came with standard.

I would just call a local infiniti dealership's parts department and ask them if they can tell you which packages you have based on your VIN.

You can tell them that you plan on purchasing a few things from them if you don't have the package already installed (namely the heating elements). If you don't have the heated seats, you could always have them installed. My understanding is that you pull off your leather/fabric cover and install the heating elements, then put the leather/fabric back on.

The fun part would be the switch and electrical parts of it.

There is some good thing about cold. No bugs at all. Lots of fun in the snow, ski, snowboard, snow mobile. Oh yeah. Some of the snowmobiles are damn fast. Not sure if you saw a snowmobile doing 8-9 seconds on the 1/4 miles on asphalt. Oh yeah baby lots of fun.

I dont think you know what cold is Jacko...sorry, but you are in FL

Pmode:

I have the 2003 Sedan. Mine has premium and navigation packages. Options I have: Bose, wood trim, navigation, rear reclining seats, heated seats, heated side mirrors, homelink programming, automatic adjusting drivers seat, sunroof....there might be a few others that I cant think of.

If you had heated seats you would def. know. There are buttons right in the middle console on either side of the transmission shifter.

I think the easiest way would almost be to find someone who swapped out their sedan seats for coupe seats. Most of the seats will probably have the heating elements. Then all you would need is the switches. I believe the wiring will be there under the middle console just not connected up.

Agreed...Jacko - FL isn't even cold! You probably have sweaters for the 60 degree days!

We have had negative temps here the last few days (-30 with wind chill). I'm sure our friends north of the border (zozo) can relate to this more frequently.

Good luck Pmode-I hope for your sake you find out you have heated seats!

Lots of snowfall the last few days, you guys get hit hard too? Being that you aren't too far away I'd imagine you got the same thing we did.

We got snow that would normally have been gone in an afternoon (few inches Saturday night). However, it has been negative temps since the snow so it isn't melting. Just unusually bitter cold out there!

LOL You guys going to hate me for this but it has been good here. Right now the temperature is at 19 at night. It is snmowing but nothing bad few inches thats all. The snow we had so far melted yesterday with all the rain.

West of us are not that lucky. They hit below zero for a few weeks now.

Here is what we have for a week.

do you measure in celsius or farenheit?

Its been pretty cold here lately. We have been getting a few inches a day for the last couple days. The mountains here got like 40" in the past few days. Awesome for skiing!! I gotta get out there and ski & board.

I'm also technically Denver...our mountains always seem to get pounded of course so I don't know what their count is. The city will get its share but we generally always get sunshine to replace it right away! We can have a blizzard here in the AM and sunny blue skies by lunch. The only other cold I feel is comparable to what we have had this week was in Port Huron, Mich and then in Montreal (both in Jan/Feb).

Zozo you Canadians have always been a little backwards.

LOL

That is true.

Fun ny last week it was snowing and it we seen the sun at the same time. Of course there is no rainbow. Damn. LOL

It was quite funny I picked my son up from school and driving home and snowing than on the far side of the horizon the sun came out from the clouds. Looked pretty cool.

I've grown up in Europe and had similar weather then here but the winters were shorter. We had 4 seasons there. In March we had flowers coming out and it was nice spring weather.

Here we have snow in March sometimes even in May. LOL

I still love it. Nothing is better than 4 season. I would get bored without the changes.

SoCal is wet and sitting around the low 40s!!!

I'm very thankful for the rain though. Especially after all of the fires.

Yeah and they're worried about California breaking away from the US...it may be char-broiled before that happens. It's nice to see you guys aren't on fire anymore.

I hear ya zozo-snow in May isn't uncommon here-it's kind of expected. I hope you're right about Europe-I'll be in Germany next year and worried that sunshine is what I'll miss the most.

Depends what part of Germany you are going.

We had a house in Germany(Siegen it is north of Frankfurt a little) also and remember when we had all the cherries gone in Hungary 3 weeks later started to get some in Germany. Few hundred miles to go North makes a huge different. There was about 5 weeks differnces with spring weather.

SoCal is officially COLD.

Last night, it actually started to snow a little around 8ish. The flakes fell on my windshield, then started melting.

I was supposed to go to my mom's to pick up some computer parts and she said that she was stuck at the Nevada/California state line because the freeways were shut down (snow and black ice).

This morning, the short hills behind our house had snow on them (not blankets, just patches).

And today we'll have a high of 57 with blue skies!!!

Don't you just love CA?

That probably not snow just the styrofoam factory near you exploded and the wind pcked up some to take it to the hill. LOL J/K

Imagine all the people in Cal with summer tires and without experience on ice.

Zozo, are you really a comedian up there?

Last night, after work, I saw 3 people peeling out in the rain. WHY? WHY?

We've had a lot of accidents in the past couple of days. I was told that a highway patrolman lost his life because of an accident. I'll have to go look for the story...
