Soooo Ya I dont post much but I thought I would because Well I love my car and I hope it never has to go through that again... For some reason my avcr is not liking my new turbo set up and stopped controlling boost and I was toruble shooting the set up on the unit and the vacuum lines ( by the way Im running a stock motor with a top mount turbonetics set up with external wastegate ) anyway I was looking at my boost gauge which is not as accurate as the avcr and I looked up and looked back down and BOOM avcr registered 2 bars I was freaked out! but everything seems ok I am sure nothing major happend and now i completely removed the boost controller and am just using the stock spring in the WG which is 9 psi Because i feel bad for the abuse ANYWAY i know this is alot of text but I figured I would share that my motor has been to 28 PSI and has survived the sr20 is an amazing motor.... so now it is time to redo all my vacuum hoses and reconfig the avcr to a safe and pleasant 15 psi for now until i can tune my new injectors and aem ems for 20 psi

So how did it feel at 28? I had a boost spike hit 23 once on my old KAT setup years ago. I remember thinking "god damn this thing is fast" then realizing I'm pinning my boost gauge lol

i hit 20psi one time with a rebuilt t25 stock setup when my boost line came off my actuator.

talk about KA's being relaible. when i first bought my car and was still learning to drive stick, i was on the free way one time, going to change lanes i downshifted from 5th to 4th to help myself speed up a little. dropped that puppy into second instead of fourth by accident, i completly and simultaniously let go of the clutch and floored the gas for a good second. rpm needle was pegged. felt like an idiot

but, clutched it, put back in 5th gear and then drove on with that motor for another year before my sr swap with no problems.

I hit 27-28 psi(on race gas) several times last night racing a newer 911 TT on the way back from Nashville last night. Pretty close race but I consistantly pulled him by a couple of cars up to 120mph.
