Remind me again why the coolant runs through the throttle body?

Heat = Bad!

Seems kinda dumb unless it's getting to the TB on its way in before it gets hot from the engine.. maybe to keep the temp down or something?

fuel vaporizes better when the air is heated. Its a kind of a EFE [early fuel evap] system. Its for emissions control mainly.

I thought you wanted to get cooler, more dense air into the car for better performace (right?) o_O
