this is on a rb20det.. what that inside like allen bolt? anyone know what size that is? and i cant find those sockets that have these alan tips.. any help..

You need exactly what you said you need. An allen socket. Dont have one? Go buy one. You're working on an RB. Youll need some tools .

This is why I posted on the forums first, I'm just taking the head of 2 send it 2 the machine shop.. Guess those r just plugs not bolts holding it down huh?

i'd highly sudgest finding the fsm and do some reading on how to remove the head...if you remove the head bolts in the wrong order it WILL warp.
you should have the head checked (and decked, if needed) when you have it cleaned.
10mm allen for the head bolts btw, most parts stores sell a socket thats used for brake work that does the job just fine.

alrighty, well yeah so far i got the cams off n everything out the way.. its sitting how the pic is.. i noticed i dident have any alan sockets and just left it.. moved on 2 another prodjects till i get tha tools..i noticed thers still 4 small bolts on the outside of the head.. but thats all .. those n the alan ones...
