Haha, ok, when i said turn the throttle adjustment screw it was because I read your first post as you had gotten the idle down to 800rpms, instead of down 800rpms from 4000, making it 3200.
So when you say you believe your rpm's are off, do you mean your tach wasn't ever properly calibrated when the swap was done? If so, i'd say it is pretty important that you get the rpm's to read pretty much spot on.
Anyways, another thing you can check is the tightness of the throttle cable, and wether or not you throttle plate is actually closing all the way at 0% throttle. If it is too tight then your throttle will remain partially open even if the gas peddle is completely depressed thus raising your idle. Just another thing to check for. GL
