Ditch the smic and get a fmic. Get the ebay special one. I've had it with no problems as well as many others. One less thing you have to worry about changing.

the one in wd's post is probably identical in size-only thing was with 3in width I had to modify the strip of metal that sticks out behind the bumper support by bending it down a bit-not a big deal imo.

Man, since i finished my turbo project all kinds of new ka fmic and turbo kits have come out lol I bought the sr fmic kit cuz that was the only kit available then and used about one pipe it came with

Do you get good power fromt he ka2.4 turbe compared to sr20?

Let me pose a different question: if someone were to fail to abide by the forum rules and guidelines they agreed to upon creating an account, would that be violating of some sort of contract? What should my punishment be for doing something like that?

I have the first one on y K5 Blazer and it works very well, even when I tow something.

Don't listen to these guys when they say the auto is garbage. I wish mine was an auto sometimes. With the right fluid, a good cooler and a stall converter down the road your car will be really fun to drive and faster then most manuals at the drag strip.

My fist Skyline was an automatic...that thing was one of the best car's I've owned to date.

Also, got anymore pics of your car? I relly like your body kit, I'm in the market for one myself.

Lol, my fitment was off on my S13 with an Ebay kit. But I figured I'd make adjustments later. Just make sure that whatever company you bought from on Ebay has good feedback. For the most part, some of the piping fit, but then again, take a look:

Would the AEM uego be a good wideband to go with. They seem to be pretty cheap.

hey i have my bov located on the hotpipe like a few inches away from the turbo...I had mine located on the cold pipe before the tb and I thought it wasn't opening all the way or something, it just acted a little funny.

I don't have any or very little compressor surge with the bov located on the hot pipe, so I would recommend it..

just looking at the pics of your fmic and piping, I would suggest you place the coupled in the bov adapter on the hotpiped where that coupler is-between the turbo and the fmic. This should still place the bov in the engine compartment right?

yea that is what i was planning on doing b/c the piping on the throttle body side is 3 inches and on the hot side it is 2.5 and the adaptor for the bov is also 2.5 so it will fit without needing reducers and should be in a pretty good location. o, and i ordered an innovate wideband today so soon the install should start taking place. thanks for al the info guys, continue to give me input!

reducers are pretty expensive, so the bov on the hotpipe would be a "win-win" IMO...that fmic would look sweet on your kouki man.

as far as the safc, only place I can think of without mounting it directly on the dash would be under the radio and next to the cig lighter like this one:

Good question.

Also as for the piping goes. I have no idea why everyone on here has such a freaking issue with IC piping.

All I did was buy a freaking 100 Dollar universal piping kit from EBAY. It even came with decent quality couplers. Then I took my dremel tool and cut the damn pipes to the sizes and bends I needed and walla IC piping done in no time. And the way I wanted it too.

Here is some examples of what I did.

yea i was wondering about the traction control also. searched but could not find it anywhere. and yea i figured i would have to mess around with the IC to get it to fit perfect but with a couple extra couplers, a 90 degree coupler, and mabye having to cut the pipe a bit, i think it will be fine. thanks for the reply.
