I normally spend my time in the 300ZX forum but figured I would say hello here. I am getting my new DD in Oct from a guy I work with. It is a 1999 G20. Here are some pics and info about the car...

Taking care of final things today. Did a compression test. 115-117 accross the board. Should have it this weekend.

Thanks. She has been around. Hopefully she will continue to have a long life. Would like to have a turbo back on it someday. Maybe sooner rather than later if I can do something that won't hurt the gas mileage too bad. I was thinking a real small turbo with only 5 lbs of boost or something...the guy I bought it from is afraid of small turbos tho...says it will blow it up because it creates too much heat...

BTW nice pick up man its a solid car. I have an older version of the G20 and let me tell you this its very reliable and wayyyy easier to work on compared to our Z's

Not only is it a lot easier to work on, it is so much cheaper...I can get a turbo kit and be pushing nearly 300 whp for about $1,200. Or I can add 20 whp to my Z for the same price (putting her at about 350 RWHP) for $1,200...

I have a feeling that I might make the car get my kids around a little quicker...

Or you can get an SR20VE and turbo it O_____O pure awesomeness whats awesome about the g20 is that it has many components that similar to the other FWD layout SR20's even the powerful SR20DET from a gti-r (although its AWD its engine set up is like FWD)

^ All of this probably costs less than doing some good upgrades on a Z32tt
