Soon to Be 2010 AC owner

Hey guys, I'm new to these forums, modding, and the AC world. I should be picking up a brand new 2010 AC Black. I don't know one thing about modding but I'm looking to learn by trial without the error . A lot of you guys have nice cars and seem to be very helpful. I'm looking forward to joining in on the fun.

Thanks and thanks! I'll post some tonight after work. I want to do EVERYTHING to it haha. I've never been into modding so I don't have a particular vision of how I see my car in the end since almost every modded car looks good to me right now lol. But I plan on starting with some HIDS. Wish I could get some coilovers but they're too pricey for me. From my understanding, Springs are cheaper but are permanent? Sorry, I'm a total noob to this.

Springs aren't permanent. Not sure that even makes sense wherever you may have read that. They are actually a temporary solution. The reason I say that is with stiffer lower springs you wear out your stock shocks (struts whatever) due to the new springs' rebound increase. Hence, if you get new springs only, you want to replace the struts with something beefier at some point, or just get the whole combo/coil overs. That's my understanding of it. Therefore, I'm not touching my suspension right now to lower it etc., as I don't want to screw around with wearing parts out. Now people will tell you it doesn't happen quickly, but it is a chance the strut will go out sooner, and I'd rather save up and get the whole package rather than piece meal.
