i have read a DIY changing tie rods and tie rod ends , and he said that " loosen and almost remove the bolt on top of the outer tie rod, leaving 2 threads still connected.

due to when using ball hoint seperator , the ball joint will suddenly detach and violently pop out of the steering knuckle, if t his happen it will damage the inner tie rod ball joint, how is this posible?? just curious , does it really happen?

Well first off, no links to other forums are allowed, so, if I was a mod I would yell at you for that. Now, when you replace tie rod ends, you want to get an alignment afterwards. And yes, you can leave the nut threaded a little. But most pros may not. We'll just use a Pickle fork and hammer it off fairly easily. If the parts are very rusty, there may be some pieces of stuff flying around. Its a judgement call.
