Well since late June my 240 has been mothballed due to a clutch problem and broken lug stems. But since winter is coming and the old 210 is a ******* on cold days the 240 is coming back. Ive owned my 240Sx since Nov 01. March 02 a deer hit me and once that was fixed the motor spun #1 crank bering. Oct 02 the auto transmission went out and 1month and $1200 later it was back alive. March 03 the auto died again but was saved from being junked by a 5sp swap. June brought on a bad clutch master cylinder and 2 broken lug stems on the way back from Tenn. Now its Dec 03 and shes coming back......again.

My question is whats next?

Seriously...if worse comes to worse, dont junk it, it looks clean and in good condition from what I can see. Im sure there are plenty of people on here who would love to have it. Good luck keepin it runnin though

Like me, you have got too much into that car to junk it. Think of all the time and stuff you have in it. Just keep fixing it, its old. Things break. But, it runs strong, so what else do you want?

Yeah things will break. I think any 240 owner knows this.

The car is old it is bound to happen. As far as my prediction on the next thing to fail...Steering rack. I got 10 bucks on the rack. :D

I doubt the steering rack is going to fail (knock on wood). It was replaced 3 years ago by the last owner. If anything its going to be the shocks, there stock and been on the car since 89.

Heres the pics of it, but its changed since then.. http://www.cardomain.com/id/bandit240

Damn. Ok my next guess. Rusted out fuel tank. :D Though I do hope you have no more problems with it.

I doubt the tank will cause any problems by rusting, not anytime soon. It had a hole in it but that was fixed with a screw. He took it down a rocky road and some rock made a small hole but screw corked it.

The car decided earlier she didn't want her muffler, but thats fixed and tightly too. :D
