Soo... who is working today? (Xmas Eve)

I'm like.. the only one at work, think I might go home or something.. the only problem is I live 45 mins north of where I work, and my familys big xmas dinner is tonight, so that would be a big waste of gas.. 45 mins down, then back up, then back down, then back up again later..

Atleast I took the camry today! My 240 uses 1/2 a tank of gas a day going to and from work (like 35-40 miles each way)

No work for me, which is actually somewhat surprising. I work in a call center and we rarely close.

What sort of work do you do? Perhaps, in the Grand American Tradition you should voice your displeasure by doing a half-assed job today...maybe even quarter-assed.

i worked today. almost 8 hrs of driving around on a forklift and crushing boxes with a compactor. not too bad for $9/hr. hell, my boss is a 6 ft canadian biker. yeah, it was boring, but hell, its almost like playing.

I didn't have to work today thankfully. I do have a paid vacation off the the next week that doesn't take away from my vacation time. I wouldn't mind working today, I'm a little board, and wouldn't mind the extra money at time 1 1/2 pay.

I'm on call today (well always), and got a few calls today. It's better to be on call than at work, so I appreciate that.

Ventured out to the grocery store, and it was a MAD HOUSE. That's what happens when Christmas Eve is the day after a Level 3 Snow Emergency. Glad I don't work retail anymore, and I pity those that do.
