Culvers custard FTMFW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And there food is very good.

Honestly, Steak & Shake isn't too bad for a quasi-fastfood joint.

I do that with Wendy's Frostys!

Wow...all that for a Sonic?

That place honestly sucks. Other than the fact that they sell tater tots, its not ever gonna do anything for me. That, and I grew up near them. I guess its because they hyped it up by airing commercials in areas that they didn't have them.

Tito- a White Castle? Near your house?

DRUNKEN PILGRIMAGE!

If there were that many people at any food establishment, why the f*** would people keep stopping? I dont care if Im going to my favorite restaraunt, if I wait more than 10 mins to be seated (unless they have a good bar), Im turning around.

No fast food is worth any wait.(hence the name) and most of the time, its not worth eating right away.

This does not surprise me one bit. Everyone thinks I'm taking vacation to Arizona next month but it's actually just to pick up some Sonic.

That's exactly what happens with White Castle.

Also the King Kong nachos look disgusting even though I've heard they're good I just can't get past the ugliness.

And Culver's rocks my socks.

I agree on that one. That is a place that is very entertaining. I'd spend like 6 hours there. So that'd be worth it to me, but food... Unless it's a really fancy restaurant that I'm taking the GF to, no...

My wife passes this Sonic on the way to work and told me they've had to have police present there the past few days to direct traffic. One lane of the highway was shut down because of waiting vehicles.

Aside from the hype of a Sonic opening in NJ, that area of the state is an extremely high volume area for almost any restaurant/eating establishment that opens up there.

Thats insane...

My brother told me that after the opening day they had to close early because the supply of food for the week was gone...

wow. print media really is dead.

I guess nothing really happens in northern new jersey.

I think I read about japanese people dressing in Tuxedos and hiring Limos to goto the first McDonalds in Japan.

I attempted to go to Sonics (6-28-09) around 5pm-ish and this is what I saw on Rt. 17...

Police directing traffic and the entire place flooded with cars...

Few days later (Wednesday night) I was driving by the Rt. 46 location (opened Monday) and I saw a line that was at least 6-8 cars deep at 2am!!

Same thing happened when it opened here in Oregon. Similar thing happened when Krispy Kreme opened too...my family waited 2 hours in line for that donut shop. And boyyyy was it worth it

Sonic isn't even that good...you can get better food from am-pm.

They're building a Sonic about 15 minutes from me, in a Walmart complex. It set pretty far off the road. Waittress service in your car hasn't been around here in a long time. I can't vouch for the food yet. We'll see.

IMHO White Castle tastes best when you're drunk as they sliiiiide down nicely. . But the #1 best fast food joint is historic Pat's steaks,9th and Passyunk in South Philly. Nuthin burps better than a real Philly cheezesteak. (Buuuuurp, aaaah)!!

most of you with whom are stateing that sonic blows...need to go to the one in south carolina...every weekend to every other weekend there is about a 2 to 2 1/2 hour time span where me a whole group of my boys and about 40 to 50 other people used to gather with a type of mini car show...girls n cars everywhere....the funniest part is when the old lincoln people try to drive through to eat...lmao...that place will never close...after the 2 1/2 hour time span you have to watch out though cops will break it up (nothing unusual) they allow a certain limit then after they break it up they watch cars n start pulling people over and following others....all in all it's a nice spot though...

edit...reason......not sure if it's still going at this time due to i currently live in mass...will be moveing down there in 1 month i will keep you informed to if this is still running if anyone is interested, or around the area...

The reason I care about Sonic is BREAKFAST.

They'll serve me a real fried egg sandwich. No pre-formed crap, just a real egg on actual toast.

EDIT: I had no idea that AM-PM was a US chain also, I thought it was only in Japan.

I just googled, and apparently even Family Mart is going to come here, although it'll be called "Famima". Super Cool!

I hope they have bento!

Saying it now. My girlfriend and I will be making a 20 minute pilgrimage to the nearest Sonic either today or Sunday. It will be epic.
