sonar suspension problem

when i crank the car i hear the system start but it doesnt raise the car. 91 m30 3.0

I'll bet the "system" you hear is the ABS pump, and it will not raise your car.

the car is has the sonar suspension on it but it doesnt raise when u flip the switch or when u crank it up

Yes, the M30's had a feature where the car would check the road via sonar and adjust its shocks accordingly.

I seem to recall it was an option on some Maxima's too at around that time!
