Somthing odd i noticed with the lsd out.

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

Well, my r32 lsd took a poop so i had venus rush one to Hawaii EXPENSIVE!! anyways , i was running the car in neutral last night with no diff in and noticed that my driveshaft was roatating and when i pushed the clutch in it stopped, it was rotationg about like 50rpm's any ideas? Bad clutch?

huh? please clarify? wont the car move forward if the driveshaft is rotating?

EDIT: nevermind i see you said w/ no diff in...

but still, without a diff in and no resistance on the other end, the output shaft will rotate? whys that?

its normal

the sloshing motion of the fluid from the input shaft in the transmission turns the countershaft and then the output shaft even tho no gear is selected

ok i buy that... but basically its so weak that if you were to hold the driveshaft w/ your hand it wouldnt spin anymore right?

Thanks guys, i got scared there for a bit like ,my clutch was gone.
