You would spend maybe 8000 for the car, and then another 15k to get it back to where it should be. You could do all the things he mentioned, but most likely with that much front end damage, there are many more things to replace than just those to make it like new.

That's a pile of crap if I ever heard it. That car is easily damaged back through the cowl and perhaps as far back as the B-pillars. These morons just don't know it yet.

And if the bags didn't blow on that type of impact, they were probably disconnected or stolen already. That, or Infiniti has some 'splaining to do.
