Fuel system would be my first guess, too.Does the car run okay once it's started?Do you ever hear a humming/buzzing sound coming from the rear of the car? That could indicate a failing fuel pump.

Make sure the fuse to the fuel pump is plugged in well in the fuse box and is not partially blown

thanks for the reply i had to go to the dealer to get it fixed .........the problem was solved by them cleaning the carbs out and reseting the engine idle control to the original specs with there computer...... i bought the car used and this problem start about a month into having the car maybe this car had the problem before, and the dealer just quick fixed it. It costed me about $200 for them to fix it and it runs more efficent then ever... other than that the car is running great.....and my front bearings just went
