So I'm changing my spark plugs, and this one my spark plug socket won't attach to, upon further inspection, it seems it has no 6 sided nut on it for my socket to attach to

Help?

try using a flashlight on it to get a clear pic, and get the camera to focus on the plug not the valve cover. Then we may know more.

could just be me but it kind of looks like the rubber piece from the spark plug socket is wrapped around it. like when the old guy pulled off the socket that just got stuck on there

get some needle nose pliers or something that will reach down in there and see if that rubber piece surrounding the spark plug will come out. you know how spark plug sockets have the rubber insulation inside? well that might be what is around that spark plug

now that i take a close look at the pic...there rite man...the rubber boot from the oil seal area of the plugwire has come off and is stuck on the plug..its allways a good idea when getting new wires to superglue those things on...anyways..there all rite..you need to fish it out.
