Did you have a good pedal at some time, then have you taken apart the master from the booster or taken apart the brake pedal then had this issue? If you had brakes, then this problem without working on either of these areas, then your problem lies elsewhere. A low pedal usually comes from 2 possible problems, air or adjustment. If the rear brakes are drum, and the adjustments have backed way down or the adjuster broken or fallen out of place , then the master cyclinder would have to travel a long distance before the pads and shoes would have contact. Then you would feel your pedal. It would be low. If the rear seal of the master, a wheel cyclinder, or a line were to leak, air would enter the system. This air would have to be compressed by the fluid coming down the line before pressure would be built. Then you would feel the pedal. This problem would almost have to have a low fluid problem in the master. You need to inspect everything, fluid, lines, flex-hoses, shoes, pads , cyclinders.. Adjust the rear brakes to get a mild drag when turning the drum, not tight or you will burn them up. Bleed the system, if this still has a problem then the master cyclinder may not be building pressure on both front and rear systems. Dave
