Have you checked the fluid level or inspected the condition of the brake pads and rotors? Have you tried to bleed them yet?

if your asking this question here about your brakes...i sugest you link up with someone local from nicco if someone will help ya..do inspect your brakes for you!..and teach you some stuffs while your there...you dont want to half a** your brakes man..its one thing you dont want to do ever..and if ya dont know enough to do a brake job yourself..then find someone who does..good luck.

im going to bleed them 2morrow. but the rotars are fine and most pads are good. but its the break petal itself. it might be the master cylinder. but if i even touch the brakes it feels like the connecting rod from the brake pedal to the master cylinder is not engaging until about half way. i will tell everyone whats up after the brake flood. thx for the help

o.k i decided to noy bleed the brakes becausse the problem is probbly the pedal itself or the master cylinder or any rods connexting both.

my freinds dad(been a mechanic for over30 years) is coming sunday to see what i need to do.

maybe i should make a video put it on youtube and paste the url on the forum.

make sure your wheel bearings aren't going bad either

air in the lines....check your fluid and check for leaks...if you still have no pedal after bleeding, the master cylinder probably has bad/leaking bore seals.

easy fix. GL

Did you have a good pedal at some time, then have you taken apart the master from the booster or taken apart the brake pedal then had this issue? If you had brakes, then this problem without working on either of these areas, then your problem lies elsewhere. A low pedal usually comes from 2 possible problems, air or adjustment. If the rear brakes are drum, and the adjustments have backed way down or the adjuster broken or fallen out of place , then the master cyclinder would have to travel a long distance before the pads and shoes would have contact. Then you would feel your pedal. It would be low. If the rear seal of the master, a wheel cyclinder, or a line were to leak, air would enter the system. This air would have to be compressed by the fluid coming down the line before pressure would be built. Then you would feel the pedal. This problem would almost have to have a low fluid problem in the master. You need to inspect everything, fluid, lines, flex-hoses, shoes, pads , cyclinders.. Adjust the rear brakes to get a mild drag when turning the drum, not tight or you will burn them up. Bleed the system, if this still has a problem then the master cyclinder may not be building pressure on both front and rear systems. Dave
