alright, i woke up in the morning and got ready to go to work and i got into my car.

I tried to start the motor but it wouldnt start, so i thought the battery died. My friend came over to jump start it, and we did jump start it.

I drove about 5 miles to work. and it was driving fine.

and I left my car on at work for about 10 mins. and it just died by itself.

so I was thinking it could be the alternator but to be safe, i checked the battery at Kragen, they said i should change it because its not working.

so I changed the battery and it started and it was driving fine for next 3 hours.

and the next day. the car wouldnt start again. but we can push start it this time. so I thought it could be the starter.

I am a newb in cars. so what do you guys think?

you think it could be the BATTERY?, STARTER?, or the ALTERNATOR?

Sounds like the alternator is bad and your battery is being discharged as a result. Charge the battery with a battery charger, then reinstall it. Then, have your alternator tested.

I say alternator. Plus it has drained your battery twice which means for safety measure I would replace that too vice just recharging it.

Another reason I added a volt meter and oil pressure gauge to my NA/KA, voltmeter can tell you if your battery is holding a charge while driving since you can see the volts drop as you drive.

Yeah, its the alternator. I had that happen to me and i was to cheap to go buy a new one and had to keep roll starting my car. And now that I wrote that down I realize how dumb I am. *sigh*
