Then the topic would be "Somethings wrong with my rental coupe" cause its still way to slow for a 3.5 but faster than my slightly modded 2.5AlexN09 wrote:I think it would be so freaking funny if the rental was a 3.5 :p
I also realize you stated it was a 2.5
You clearly haven't been reading any of my responses then. I took everything everyone has said into consideration, though YOU may think I haven't, I have. You may also find that I actually took my time to respond to some of them, unless you wanted me to respond to every single person, I dont have that much time to do so, but it's nothing against their advice. There are people who are far worse in being non responsive. Some OPs who dont even respond whatsoever. I literally have been busy with work/camping/attending to more important things than rushing back here to update, and I'm sure others are in the same predicament. If you would like to contribute anything useful to this topic other than keeping me in check, please do so, otherwise please don't make me out to look like a inconsiderate prick. And NO to everything else you said in the second paragraph.stevewaclo wrote:Mikethemike,
You do realize of course, that posters who do not report back with outcomes, especially after many others have slaved over hot keyboards in an effort to assist, will face "unspecified retaliatory measures" :-).
In other words, Wazzup?
Was the rental a 3.5 after all? Did you suddenly remember the 400# of fertilizer in the trunk? How about the tennis ball that had somehow slipped under the accelerator? And you did check for critters taking up residence in the air intake, right? Someone stop me before I get really silly :-).
Best wishes
I've tried to help people here before, some appreciated it and others didn't. I feel you appreciated it so I dont feel that waymikethemike wrote:You clearly haven't been reading any of my responses then. As for the Idle Relearn, I did in fact try it and unfortunately as suspected didn't do anything. Thanks to everyone else for the help, sorry if I kept you waiting for an update.

Actually I have those wheels off for now, but I'm willing to bet the 17''s are about the same. And no sound system for me. I suppose I could remove the spare, but what good will that do? Hardly nothing lol.BamaCoupe wrote:Have you concidered wheel weight? I'm not sure what an OEM wheel for a 2012 2.5s is but I do know the your 350Z wheels are hefty at about 25-26lbs. Also are you rockin about 200lbs. to 300lbs. of stereo in your trunk?
I can promise you the rental car has the spare, so no good there. A lot of times folks add a lot of weight to there cars and don't realize what that could be doing to there performance, so I threw that one out there.mikethemike wrote:Actually I have those wheels off for now, but I'm willing to bet the 17''s are about the same.
