front or rear? id check and make sure you have your metal clips in there correctly.... also if you didnt turn the rotrs when you put on pads that could cause a noise

looks like your rotor is warping. did you torque your lug nuts properly? what type of pads are you running?

Did he reuse and put the original brake shims back in. Those really help reduce noise and vibration. Did you clean the rotors and make sure there wasn't any grease or coating on them before installing.

I put X/S rotors and new pads on mine not too long ago. Make sure the dust boot isn't touching the new fatter rotors, you can just bend it away from the rotors but make sure you do it evenly and just pull it away a little bit.

If there is still a squeal, it could be that you don't have your shims... i dont have mine and i've only witnessed a squeal once or twice braking slightly at like 1mph.

I have a 97 240sx se, don't know what year you have, but you should have the pins 2 pins for each front caliper. And at least for my car, make sure that you turned the rear piston clockwise with needle-nose pliers or something to set it and don't just C-Clamp it in like you can with the fronts.

just some suggestions... good luck

[edit:] oh, looked at the blurry pics again and realized they were solid which leads me to believe they are your rears.

I had a similar problem, turns out something got stuck in between the piston and the pad.Can someone explain to me what turning the rotors is and why it is done? Also, when you guys torque your lug nuts, do you do it while the tire is on the ground or in air?

You should turn brand-new rotors when you install them... The pads drag on the surface if you dont.

Turning the rotors is also called "grinding" them. The surface of the rotor is ground down to make it have a more uniform surface, allowing your brakes to last longer and hold better.
