something wierd please help

hello first time anyways i cleaned my motor whitch is a rb20 and then started my car it idled funny so i checked every thing and found my #5 spark plug was swimming in water so i cleaned that and checked the plug and it was fine started car again ran fine took it around the block and under boost tward red line the car would spuder like ignition was cut please help thanks a lot

Let it dry out and try it again, you were probably shorting out the coil to the block.

I 2nd that. The coil pack are prob worn down to start with so any little moisture that gets to them will prob cause your problem.

i let the engine dry for about three days now

and its still acting retarded?

Try checking all the connections from the coils to the spark plugs.

while its running unplug each coil and see if it makes a diffrence, do this one at a time and the ones that cause a change are proly bad.

i dont think its the coils because driving the car normaly its fine it only sputters on full throtle at about 4 g rpm then starts stops and so on

did you change fuel filters yet? Also, what about fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator. 43psi set with vaccum line off. Also to get the water out get a wet/dry vaccum and suck out the water homie!

i have a 300zx fuel filter and a walburo ruel pump both mabey 3 or 4 months old and i checked every wire conection and cavern of the motor for water and there is no water anywhere

did your properly extend the maf wires? ie good solid connections with shielded cable? Also might want to clean the maf with some electrical contact cleaner

hey i got it dont know exactly what it was but i got electrical parts cleaner and sprayed every electrical conection on the engine harnes and took it for a dreve and everything went wellthank you every one for helping me out
