Well, after a few months of testing and fitting and the usually that is involved with a new product.....I am pleased to announce. (Did not want to till I was sure it was ready to release)

DC Sport will have a Cat-Back system in about sixty days then towards the end of the year or January a Header System.

Everything was finalized this morning and specs were sent to Japan for Manufacturing.

I will get more info/pictures shortly......so enjoy this bit of good news and a big welcome to the Versa community to DC Sports!

The 1.8L MR18DE engine is now available in Japan in the Tiida, so it makes sense for them to offer it in Japan and the USA. The Tiida is not a popular platform for tuners here. They have more parts available for the March than the Tiida.

Bob and I are working to get some Nismo stuff from over here (in Japan) brought to the USA market.

Here's some fun stuff.Http://www.nissan.co.jp/OPTIONAL-PARTS/

Enjoy!

I know we have very limited things already for the V but I would be interested in helping getting some new things in production for the V. I would also like to see more parts for the Sedans. I own one and there are a lot of things we can't get simply because no one really makes things for us.

Examples: Body kits, spoilers, and exhausts.

Let me know if there is anything I can do.

I checked out the site, the JDM Tiida gets WAY better selection on aftermarket parts compared to the Versa in the US. It puts us to shame! You should check out the selection they have on aftermarket stereos. There's at least 5 different types of stereos you can get. They even have a Minidisc/6 CD Disc changer, makes me very jealous. Check this link for yourself http://www.nissan.co.jp/OPTION....html Is there a way for Bob to import these stereos and have them work on the Versa in the US? I would love to get an aftermarket stereo that's made for the V.

Also, check out this link. They get illuminated kick plates, cargo net and other goodies. Makes me really jealous now!

One of the best parts of my current trip (which is 10 weeks long) is that I can go around to all the JDM shops and manufacturers and talk to them on the weekends and at weeknights.

I picked up the Tiida brochures from a dealership Saturday and sent some info to Bob. He posted the pics I sent him because I was having trouble.

Last night I went to a dealer near work that is 1 million square feet. Ridiculously large! It has a tuner section of Nismo parts, OEM parts, etc. They had an Impul Tiida '09 edition on display. Wow, damn sexy. I am going back Saturday with a camera (I can't carry one due to work restrictions).

I am going to the Nismo headquarters along with a lot of other shops and manufacturers while I am here. So the chances of Bob or Nissan's US Motorsports Group being able to import the stuff I find gets better every day. The hardest part for them has been finding connections and part numbers (for Nismo parts) from the US. I am getting all that on the weekends for them since I am already here.

I will be going to the Tokyo Motor Show next month too. Just another fun stop to drool.

I bring good news from the land of DC Performance..............Versa Catback systems are on the ship from Japan headed our way and mid-January is the estimated time of arrival so start saving your pennies.....AND....it doesn't stop there.....Headers are targeted towards the middle to end of the year maybe sooner so we'll see what happens there.

Everybody.....have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your families.....it's been a pleasure serving the Versa/Cube Community.
