Alright so I was driving around a bit one night and I notice that my temp was on H. I pull over and sit the car on the side of the road for a while. I limp the car home with the temp staying just a little below the last bar before the H. I figured I got air in my system. Anyway I went to bleed the the cooling system and I notice that the coolant in the radiator goes up a little and goes down a bit. When I close the bleeder screw, coolant slowly overflows from the radiator.

Im confused because I can drive around with no overheating problems and the heater still blows nice hot air. Am I just being paranoid or is my HG going out.

The engine was rebuilt 35k miles ago. I would think the HG d could take some abuse.

just got home from school and i went to check to see if maybe the weep hole was leaking. I noticed that my bottom hose was cool, but the metal elbow was somewhat warm. I could somewhat smell coolant but i didnt see anything leaking. Also i had the heater blowing on the way home and it was blowing nice and hot.

also pulled my dipstick and its passed the F eh this isnt looking good

Make sure the radiator is passing water properly. I wonder if you don't have a clog in there.

hay bro..long time no see!...well got some places for ya to look at that might be your issue..you will need a small compact mirror..grab one from your girls handbag....start to look just under the intake manifold where the upper radiator hose connects..its possible that the gasket is pissing a little and they tend to fail at the bottom first...if thats not the case...then pan around the block where the head meets the block and look for chalk white water marks...you may have a headgasket failure...whith what you described bro..this is all i could think of..get back to us with what ya find...good luck

im hoping its just my water pump, maybe the weep hole blew or something. I looked at the coolant and its still green and my oil still looks like oil and has no scent of coolant. I do see a small puddle of coolant in the morning under the car. Im doing it tomorrow morning and ill drive it around for a few days and see what happens.

The car hasnt overheated since and there is still nice hot air coming from the heater. So thats gotta mean no air bubbles anywhere from what I know.
