OK, I have been driving the 1989 Nissan with SR20DET for over a week now and I love it. But here is the problem...This problem has been occuring ever since the first start of the engine. I did the install all myself and the current mods are Blitz intake filter, downpipe, testpipe, and exhaust, stock boost levels.

Ok, When I shut off the car the car continues to try to stay running for approx. 3 seconds. It acts as if there is fuel going to the engine but no spark, so the engine sputters, and sounds like it is dieing. The car has turbo timer installed, and that was my original thought of the problem so I took it out and it still did it. After I cut the engine off I know there is still power to the engine cause the dash lights will continue to stay on such as the ebrake light (when engaged), coolant gauge, etc. the key will be out of the ignition.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so how did you fix it. If you are confused by my description of the problem please post and I will try to explain into further detail, I would really love to have this problem fixed.

Thanks Everyone for your Help,Jay

My car also runs for about 2-3 seconds after the key is turned off.

EDIT: Didnt read the entire post. My dash lights/temp gauge also stay on for 1-2 seconds after the motor shuts off.

I remember somebody messaging me on AIM about this problem. I guess HT said it was a common problem and that two wires needed to be switched. Might want to ask them, see what they say.
