For you guys that don't venture around the whole NICO community that often, I though you guys should check this out: http://www.nissaninfiniticlub....ber=1

And if by chance any of you suspension brainiacs want to enlighten me on what's what with the talk of 8/6, 9/7, etc. I'm assuming they are referring to spring rates. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, those numbers are in reference to spring rates in kgf/mm. Basically, multiply that number by 56 and you'll get the rate in lbs/inch.

Heh... where have you been for the past 4 months? :D So far, there's been a total of 3 group buys for those coilovers on NICO.

I am weary of that group buy just because it seems to be such a nice product for such a low price....too low of a price. I'm probably just paranoid but if that's the case, then i just missed out on a good deal and i'm out of nothing more.

Btw...the factory rates are 2F/2R, and most coilovers come with 8F/6R

my AGX's are working just fine for shock duty (I run em like 3/4 front and 6/8 rear, was 2 and 5 before but I aired up the tires some more and needed more shock) but I wish I had some real linear springs, or at least stiffer progressive ones, than the pro-kits. I mean, they beat the hell outta stock, but.. I'm finding they're insufficient to the task of hard cornering.. but it'll have to wait.. engine first, then misc. safety and performance upgrades (brakes, lighting, possibly roll bar & seat & harness, swap to 5 lug and Z32 wheels for bigger cheap rubber) before I go on to get BETTER aftermarket suspension parts..

i am in on this, i think it is a good deal.. and better than my AGX and ProKit (which i can sell locally for a good bit as they are very expensive to get)

yeah, im thinking i might as well give it a shot since i wont have the money for the engine management system anymore. im thinking 9/7 because im an idiot. guess itll be ok because the car never goes more than a few miles from home (especially now, i have lost all trust in the car).

I can't take it anymore either. The more i sit here and think about AGX's and ST springs at 3kg F and 2.7kg R for almost $600 when i could have the k sports for $720 shipped with pillow ball mounts at 9kg F and 7kg R......

Only problem is im like $100 short, i better hurry up and find some cash!

yeah. if it can wait 2 months, you could be retarded and sell the shocks and springs off your car... but thats not a good idea. needless to say its exactly the kind of thing i would do. i KNOW you can come up with 100 bucks in a hurry for a good cause, most everyone can. just sell something..like a family member..into slavery.. im done.
