Alright I've very mad at myself and my car. Yesterday I got some new rubber on the rear wheels, feeling happy on the way home I decide to have fun on a turn. Basically I missed the gear and reved up like crazy, I'm pretty sure I didn't grind it. Anyway after that I drive home and everything feels like it always does. Next morning the catch point is all the way at the top of the pedal, and I can't tell for sure but I'm pretty sure it engages all the way. I start driving down the road and behold a great loss of power, especially in 3rd gear. Parts that are probably not good just from small symptoms I've had: power steering, FPR (just maybe; I haven't checked my fuel pressure at idle yet), and now I can probably add clutch to the list (even though I don't think I coulda messed it up just by missing the gear).

I'm thinking about selling the car now...unless there is a simple diagnosis or fix.

check to see of the clutch is slipping. go from 1st to 4th or 5th and see if the revs shoot up. at least you will take this part outta the equasion
