something is really wrong HELP

while i was driving yesterday i was taking a turn and put it in second and as i went to accelerate and it just started to rev and shake and then finally catch. what is going on?

Take the lead weights off your right shoe.

Seriously, has it done anything unusual since then? You might have just had your foot barely putting some pressure on the clutch allowing it to slip more than you expected. I wouldn't worry about it if this was an isolated event.
