Something happened to my Z today on my way to work.

I just stopped at a stop sign and i felt something happen to my Z. Very weird but it sounds like a subaru(which 5 minutes before it sounded like a 300zx should sound like) and the car shakes soooooo much everytime i give it gas. even just idling its very rough. Anybody know? i was thinking maybe fuel injectors but im not sure. any help? Thanks in advance.

Have you cleaned all of your connectors for injectors, coil packs, PTU, MAF, CAS and temp sensors??? I had the same problem several years ago. I was running on 5 cylinders, then 4, then 3. The coil pack and injector connectors were green with corrosion.

yeah i would olm your injectors. the subaru z is a sign of a failed injector.

Do a power balance test at idle, pull each coil pack connector seperately, as you remove one the idle should drop, plug it back in the idle should raise again. If you find one connector that doesn't do anything, that's your dead cylinder. Now you have to narrow it down to spark or fuel issue.
