I like this car overall. I find it quite a bumpy ride though. I'm asking you guys opinion if there is someway to improve this. Well it would be great if it is not-expensive way.

I just purchased this car, yesterday actually. The car is SL HB cvt transmission.

I actually found the ride to be rather soft in the V. The particular struts that Nissan uses on these cars makes things rather bouncy though. I am thinking that is what you are referring to...You can go with some aftermarket springs that have a different spring rate, or even change out your struts. However i dont know that there is much out there in the line of aftermarket struts at the moment. But I swithced to the Tanabe NF210 springs and am very pleased with the results. Not as bouncy anymore.

Ditto what versa2nr said.

I switched to the Eibach Lowering Kit springs and it makes for a nice ride. Definitely stiffer and a more sporty feel. Kinda reminds me of my dad's '82 280 ZX now.

Its the ripple control struts that make the ride bouncy the way it is. They are designed to soak up the small bumps. So the long strokes that the suspension takes are felt more

Did you check air pressure? Tires should be set according to the sticker inside the driver's door.

You'd be surprised how choppy the ride can be when the tires are over-inflated.

in case u dont have the sticker, theres always the manual. Ive checked it in the manual for the psi and its 33psi for all stock tires
