The T25 is generally thought to be too small for the KA, although some have used it with good results.CHeck out this thread...http://www.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=92455

it willbe really hard to get 250whp with a t25.

with stock boost u r looking about 200-210 to the ground maybe.

maybe if you boost about 1 bar you will probably get around that number but 1 bar on a t25 i heard is pushin the turbo ..especially on the ka.

with the SR t25, it would be easier to find all the turbo accessories like downpipe, intercooler piping, intake piping and all that stuff right? Since you can use the massive amounts of SR aftermarket parts that are out there right? Like you can use a stock SR smic, a megan racing downpipe for SR, and a arc intake box for SR right?

you can use most of those parts, but do remember, the turbo will be in a different place than it would be attached to a SR20DET, so yes, the SMIC and piping would work, but will still need some custom work for adaptation. The Intake box, would work to, again, with modification, so keep all of that in mind.

Wasabi Garage makes a bottom mount KADE turbo manifold with a T25 flange on it that places the turbo in the same location as the SR. SR downpipes and exhausts should bolt right up, as well as the hot side of SR intercooler kits. You would need to have a custom cold pipe made for the intercooler though so it lines up with the KA throttle body.

According to RMiller and other guys, the GTiR T28 is the best small turbo, maybe even better than the Z31 T3.

I used the sr sidemount with all the piping, I just had to extend it with 2.5" exhaust tubing to reach the TB on my single cam.

Oh btw this is used with a z31 t3 turbo.

how much power are you putting down? what kind of fuel setup? SR injectors with SAFC?

Turbo lag on a 2.4L KA engine with a T25? I'd think that little sucker would spool up like crazy, turn in to a heat pump and fall flat on it's face over 5K.

if you use a t25 on a ka, you will get full spool at about .. maybe 2800 rpm.

it is more than enough power to daily drive on the streets and auto-x

I dont know how much power, never dyno'd it. Fuel setup is 460cc injectors with safc. Cant use SR injectors with the single cam because they are side feed.
